hello!

I’m Natalie, and I hope you enjoy my portfolio! I am an artist from Canada with a background in animation as a storyboard artist and character designer, and hoping to further my career in illustration.

In my free time I like to veg amongst my many plants with my two cats; Basil and Nigel. Sometimes I will volunteer with local conservation efforts like weed-pulls and native plant… planting, and museums! I grew up in the rural prairies and was able to embrace my love of nature everyday, and have hands-on learning of the natural world around me. I enjoy gardening and going for hikes in the coastal rainforests, that I now call home. I’m also a big fan of folklore, monsters and cryptids!

I am humble and grateful for the experience of growing up most of my life in the beautiful landscape of Niitsitapi/Treaty 7 Territory, the traditional lands of the Blackfoot people of the Canadian Plains. I’ve since moved to the unceded land of the Stó:lō People, and am excited to learn more of their history and culture.
